SBGrid Data Bank
SBGrid Data Bank was established to support archiving, discovery and sharing of the experimental datasets that structural biologists publish in scientific journals.
Data Preservation Alliance for Structural Biology (Data-PASB) will follow the model that was successfully implemented for social sciences by Mercè Crosas and partners from seven other social science archives (The Data Preservation Alliance for the Social Sciences). Through Data-PASB alliance the structural biology community will achieve a scalable and sustainable preservation of experimental datasets.
SBGrid is a global consortium of 270 structural biology laboratories. SBGrid curates a collection of 300 structural biology applications, b) manages research computing for groups in the Boston area; c) manages an Open Science Gris cloud portal; d) studies the impact of scientific software.
